How I got here

I grew up in Northwest Reno, a few blocks off the Truckee River, and spent years loading trucks around the Truckee Meadows for other companies before I put my own name on one in 2010. I wanted a crew that treated a stranger’s furniture the way I’d carry my own mother’s.

Are we the real thing?

Yes — All The Right Moves is a fully licensed and insured, owner-run moving company based in Reno, NV; we run our own trucks and uniformed crews. We’re never a broker, a matching app or a lead reseller, and your move is never sold off to another carrier.

How we work

We keep about fifteen uniformed movers on staff, every one a W-2 employee rather than day-hire help. Our authority covers Nevada intrastate household-goods moves plus US DOT and MC for interstate, and we’re bonded and insured. We build each job around what the high desert throws at a crew — dry air, dust off the valley floor, big temperature swings and snow up the Sierra. I’m Chase, and All The Right Moves is mine — owner-run, no partners, no franchise sign over the door. I grew up in Northwest Reno a few blocks off the Truckee River, spent years loading trucks around the Truckee Meadows for other outfits, then started my own in 2010. The idea was simple and hasn’t changed: give people a written estimate they can trust, then send a crew that earns it. One truck grew into a full yard of them over the years, yet how we run a job hasn’t budged. The movers who show up at your door pull on our shirts and draw a W-2 check from us — not a single subcontractor in the mix — and a call to the office rings a phone right here in Reno, never some distant answering floor. Years of moves around the Biggest Little City taught this crew what makes or breaks a job here: Midtown walk-ups, downtown high-rises, steep cabin drives up toward Lake Tahoe and Mount Rose, and winter runs over Donner Pass with the chains on. Our name rides on the side of every rig, and that is exactly why your grandmother’s dresser gets carried like a piece I’d be moving out of my own home.

What Moving Day Actually Looks Like

A written figure, usually the same day you call

On our end: Tell us how many rooms, whether the crew faces stairs or a flat walk-out, and where a truck can sit — the written number lands back with you almost right away.

Where you help: Keep your two dates close, plus any gate codes or building-access rules; that’s what sharpens a rough range down to a firm price.

We hold the date and clear the way in

On our end: Parking, gate codes and an elevator hold all get squared away with the building manager or HOA before the date, so the crew rolls the truck straight to your door rather than lugging boxes from down the street.

Where you help: Nail down when you can leave the old place and get into the new one, then flag whichever of those two dates is hardest to shift.

Wrap, pad, label, load

On our end: Every piece disappears under moving blankets, couches get sealed in stretch wrap, and the bolts from each bed frame or table go into a labeled bag taped to that exact item.

Where you help: Mark each carton with the room it’s headed to, and carry your papers, keys and anything small and valuable yourself instead of loading it.

Load out, haul, carry in, walk through

On our end: Whoever loads your house is who carries it back in at the other end — furniture landed exactly where you ask for it, bed frames reassembled, and all the spent wrap and tape bagged up and gone before we clear out.

Where you help: Walk the place with the chief before the truck pulls out, while anything that needs fixing is still easy to fix.
