Owner-run, Reno born and raised

Dial us and it’s Chase or a mover on his crew who picks up — never a call center. Tell us which stairwells run tight and which rooms run heavy, and we’ve got the day mapped out long before it arrives.

A written estimate you can trust

We build your number from a real room-by-room inventory, with pads, dollies, shrink-wrap and wardrobe boxes already included — no vague curbside guess.

Full house or just the fragile stuff

Kitchen cabinets empty into dish barrels, hanging clothes lift straight into wardrobe cartons, and a made-to-fit crate protects every mirror, flat-screen and slab of stone counter.

Careful hands over any terrain

The crew chief who sizes up your home leads the truck and does the final walk-through with you — from Sierra cabin roads to downtown high-rises, one team stays with your load.

Reno apartment moves live or die on access — a shared freight elevator with a two-hour window, a Midtown walk-up with no elevator at all, or a leasing office that won’t release the keys until a certificate of insurance is on file. Malik Foster runs these jobs and maps the carry before the truck rolls in.

Where we move renters most

  • Downtown high-rises and Riverwalk District lofts along the Truckee River
  • Midtown District walk-ups and older brick fourplexes off Virginia Street
  • UNR-area student rentals and the newer complexes near McCarran Blvd

We reserve the elevator with building management, send your leasing office or HOA a certificate of insurance ahead of the date, and lay runners through every shared lobby and stairwell. Pricing runs $139 an hour for a two-mover truck or $195 with a third hand aboard, one-hour minimum either way, and the pads, dollies and wardrobe boxes never show up as a separate charge.

What Comes Standard

Every item below is built into how our crews run your move — none of it becomes a surprise line on the final bill.

  • Elevator time reserved with the building so the crew isn't waiting on a shared car
  • A certificate of insurance drafted for your leasing office or HOA with the exact limits they ask for
  • Rail guards, corner pads and floor runners down every stairwell and lobby we pass through
  • Bed frames, flat-pack units and desks taken apart, then rebuilt where you want them
  • Wardrobe boxes, dollies and stretch wrap already on the truck at no line-item cost
  • Extra movers added for no-elevator Midtown walk-ups so a tall carry still stays quick
  • Couches, headboards and mattresses sealed in covers before the first trip down

Questions We Hear a Lot

Do you move no-elevator walk-ups in Midtown and downtown Reno?
Every week. Malik's crew works the older Midtown and downtown buildings constantly, and we send an extra mover so a third- or fourth-floor carry still wraps up on schedule.
Does my leasing office need a certificate of insurance from you?
Usually they do. Pass along your property manager's details and Nadia has the certificate of insurance written up and sent over a few days before the move, with exactly the limits your building spells out.
How do you charge for an apartment move?
It's hourly — $139 covers a two-mover crew and the truck, $195 brings on a third, and a single hour is the floor. Blankets, hand trucks and stretch wrap all come baked into that price.
Can you handle a student move near UNR on short notice?
Usually yes, as long as a truck's free that day. Weekends when the University of Nevada lets out book up quickly, so ring (888) 278-9005 ahead to claim a slot.
Do you handle booking the freight elevator?
Yes. We contact building management and lock in the elevator window before your date, so the crew backs in and gets to work instead of circling for a spot.

What Moving Day Actually Looks Like

  1. 1

A written figure, usually the same day you call

On our end: Tell us how many rooms, whether the crew faces stairs or a flat walk-out, and where a truck can sit — the written number lands back with you almost right away.

Where you help: Keep your two dates close, plus any gate codes or building-access rules; that’s what sharpens a rough range down to a firm price.

  2. 2

We hold the date and clear the way in

On our end: Parking, gate codes and an elevator hold all get squared away with the building manager or HOA before the date, so the crew rolls the truck straight to your door rather than lugging boxes from down the street.

Where you help: Nail down when you can leave the old place and get into the new one, then flag whichever of those two dates is hardest to shift.

  3. 3

    Wrap, pad, label, load

On our end: Every piece disappears under moving blankets, couches get sealed in stretch wrap, and the bolts from each bed frame or table go into a labeled bag taped to that exact item.

Where you help: Mark each carton with the room it’s headed to, and carry your papers, keys and anything small and valuable yourself instead of loading it.

  4. 4

Load out, haul, carry in, walk through

On our end: Whoever loads your house is who carries it back in at the other end — furniture landed exactly where you ask for it, bed frames reassembled, and all the spent wrap and tape bagged up and gone before we clear out.

Where you help: Walk the place with the chief before the truck pulls out, while anything that needs fixing is still easy to fix.

What will your Reno move actually run?

Tell us the home size, your target day and what’s coming along, and a written estimate lands in your inbox before the day is out. Nothing to pay, no deposit up front — just a dependable figure you can budget against.

  • Fully licensed and insured — Nevada’s intrastate household-goods authority for local work, plus federal US DOT and MC authority once a move leaves the state
  • Whatever number you sign off on is the number the movers hold to — drawn from a true room-by-room count, never a guess from the curb
  • Each mover wears our uniform, draws a W-2 paycheck from us, and shows up in one of our own trucks

Most weekday requests get a reply from us inside the hour.

Costs nothing to ask, and you’re under no obligation — whatever you enter lands only at our Longley Lane office in Reno, gets used to work up your price, and travels to nobody else. The Privacy Policy lays out exactly where each field is stored and which of the crew ever sees it.
